WA Oceanafest’s Restaurant of Champions starts to sizzle

The Singapore Chefs Association have confirmed that they will be attending WA Oceanafest 2009 to defend their title, added to this the Hong Kong Chefs Association have also confirmed their participation. An Australian Team is now in training to try and repeat our success in the Hot Kitchen in Erfurt.
“Singapore also achieved Gold in the hot kitchen and Hong Kong received Silver so the stage is beginning to be set for a great competition” said WA Oceanafest Director Patrick O’ Brien.
The competition will be made up of local, interstate and international teams
Each team will have to cook, serve and present 88 Portions of a three course menu with four hour preparation time. Closing dates for entry is the 20th Feb 2009.
